The 16th edition of this popular annual outdoor art festival (called The New Art Festival since 2009) attracted a lot of art lovers to Central Park in The Glebe. Over 250 artists showed and sold their work on two hot and humid days in June 2008.

9th International Art Miniature Biennial / 9e Biennale internationale d'art miniature

This juried art biennial showed almost 400 works (over 150 of which were prints) by artists from 30 countries, displayed magnificantly in the Salle Augustin-Chénier in Ville-Marie, Quebec.

2nd International Mini Print Exhibition

This bi-annual miniature print exhibition showed over 200 prints by artists from 18 different countries.
Cancer Connections
This outdoor photographic exhibition about people living with cancer is organized by Photosensitive and the Canadian Cancer Society.
Cancer Connections opened in May 2008 in Toronto and the show then visited Charlottetown (PEI) and Montreal (QC). The exhibition continues to grow and will travel to Regina (SK), Winnipeg (MB), St. John (NB), Halifax (NS) and Saint John's (NFL) in 2009 and to Vancouver (BC) in April 2010. The tour will end with a grand finale exhibition in Ottawa in 2010.

PROOF Studio Gallery hosted the 7th International Print Exhibition and Exchange – an opportunity for printmakers from anywhere in the world to connect with eachother by exhibiting their print interpretation of the zodiac sign of the Chinese New Year. Artists from China, Mexico, Germany, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec and Ontario participated in this free exhibition and print exchange, by sending in their limited edition prints, made especially for this show.
